Mindfulness Educator Rachel Wixey

Rachel Wixey is a student, teacher, speaker, coach and group facilitator of meditation for wellness and profound self-care. She is also Founder and Director of Wixey Center for Wellness, and loves spending time in the Center and with schools and business organizations for this work. Her care in this field helps others establish an understanding of the effects of stress on the brain and nervous system, and meditation practices to support mental, emotional and physical health and wellness. The formal training Rachel’s is most proud of is Mindful Schools Teacher Certification, which has prepared her to teach mindfulness curriculum to K-12 Youth. Rachel is also a Certified Workplace Mindfulness Facilitator through Mindful Leader, and is a trained Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) through PESI, bringing trauma-informed sensitivity to her work.

Mindfulness Educator Angie Corogin

Angie is an Integrative Health Coach, Mindfulness Educator, Licensed Intervention Specialist, and enthusiastic yoga teacher with 20 years of experience in the wellness world. What sparks passion in Angie is found at the crossroads of education, wellness, and mindfulness. Angie spent a decade in the classroom and as a teacher coach. She has practical insights toward bringing mindfulness to life in the classroom, school, and whole school community. Angie is founder of Wildlight Wellness located in Grand Rapids, Ohio and she loves having this space along the Maumee river for community building + learning. Angie has completed her formal Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction training at Brown University and has received mentoring from many brilliant teachers. Angie currently serves as a Health Coach for the Cleveland Clinic, offers private coaching, consulting, speaking, training and PD to area businesses, universities, and school communities.

    All sessions are recorded and will be posted immediately after the live session. Don't worry, we've got your covered!

  • I have never done meditation or mindfulness. Is this series still for me?

    Yep! This series serves anyone new to mindfulness + meditation practice, as well as those who have a general understanding or even their own established practice.

  • What do I need to prepare or bring to class?

    Plan to set aside time as you join, whether you join for the live sessions or settle into the recording. You may also wish to have a journal or notebook to reflect on the content or the practices we experience together.

  • Will I have the opportunity to ask questions?

    Yes! The first 45 minutes is dedicated to learning and experiencing mindfulness + meditation practices, and the last 15 minutes is reserved for Live Q&A. You may also submit questions before live sessions begin.
